Gotta catch 'em all!  Guess what, you can't do that here, but you can catch the info instead.

This is going to be shorter than the other series I have listed all because I don't really know that much about the Japanese version of Pokemon and I haven't seen the series since the local Kid's WB cancelled it.  Please excuse this slight inconvenience.

Pokemon is an Anime about the animal-like, powerful creatures called Pokemon.  In this comical, fantastic series (no, I am NOT too old for a "kiddie show") follows 10-year-old Ash Ketchum and his Pikachu (I LUV Pikachu!!!) all over the Indigo Plateau as he earns all eight gym badges and captures as many Pokemon as possible.  Sounds like a bunch of fun, huh?  Going out on your own, living by your own rules...it's very tempting, isn't it?  Thought so.

Ash meets Misty, the youngest sister of the three Cerulean Gym leaders when he's running from some Spearow and trying to save Pikachu.  He takes Misty's bike and wrecks it when he's not even in Veridian (?) City.

That fateful encounter started a friendship that would last a lifetime... could it develope into something more?  I don't know yet, because I need my little brother to get more VHS tapes.  Joining Brock, leader of the Pewter City Gym, Ash and Misty set off on the journey of their lives, capturing Pokemon, battling Team Rocket, other Pokemon trainers, and doing some pretty funny, stupid, and meaningful things as they go.

So far, there are two seasons of Pokemon in the USA that I know of;  the Indigo and Johto Journeys.  Try to catch 'em all if you're still a die-hard fan like me.  Tell me more if you know; I could use some more information.

For more information, go to anipike.com or pokemon.com and check out all the cool pics while you're at it.
