In the popular series, Sailor Moon, we follow a normal (Question: How normal?) schoolgirl named Serena
(Usagi in Japan) from her meeting with the talking black cat named Luna and future boyfriend/husband Darien Chiba to her deadliest
battles with bad guys like Queen Beryl and the people of the Negamoon, all while being a normal kid in high school and the
best friend anyone could ever have. Try doing that every night and studying for finals!
Serena and Luna round up four other girls who, like Serena, have magical powers to fight evil. At first, it's just
Serena and Luna one their own until they meet Ami, AKA Sailor Mercury. Soon they pick up Rei (Sailor Mars), Lita (Sailor
Jupiter) and lastly Mina (Sailor Venus) and her cat guardian, Artimes, who has white fur to contrast Luna's black fur.
Whenever the Scouts got into a fix, the mysterious and handsome Tuxedo Mask came to their rescue. However, after
one of Queen Beryl's goons Zoisite killed fellow warrior Neflite, Tuxedo Mask helped them so he could get at some crystals
the Scouts had. Queen Beryl also wanted these crystals, and she stopped at nothing to get them back. Then Zoisite
went after Tuxedo Mask, who turned out to be Darien, Serena's #1 tormentor on the street or subway. She caught
Darien and Serena up in a trap to get Darien's set of crystals. Serena, having no choice, changed before Darien and
their enemy's eyes into Sailor Moon. Darien changed into Tuxedo Mask, shocking Serena.
While they were trapped, they learned of their pasts as the princess of the Moon Kingdom and a prince from Earth, saved
by Serena's mother, Queen Serenity during an attack by Queen Beryl. The two had been destined to marry and were very
much in love.
Serena was cast aside and Darien brought under Beryl's evil spell. After the final battle, the Sailor Scouts and
Darien are zapped of the memories they made fighting together against Beryl and her cronies.
Luna and Artimus are forced to bring back their memories when a new threat shows it's ugly face in Tokyo. Darien,
however, doesn't become Tuxedo Mask and fight with the Scouts. Instead, his subconscience takes control and forms a
separate being names Moonlight Knight. The Darien look-alike helps Serena and her friends fight the new threat until
this final battle, when Serena saves Darien's life and Moonlight Knight reveals who he really is. Tuxedo Mask returns
and Serena and Darien begin their relationship.
Some months after this war, a pink-haired little girl shows up on Serena's doorstep. Her name is Serenity, like
Serena, but she is known as Rini. Believe it or not, this precocious little girl is Serena and Darien's future daughter,
and the Negamoon is after her. With Rini's help, the Scouts and Tuxedo Mask are able to defeat Rubeus and his Queen,
safely returning Rini to her own time in the future.
What's this? Two new, older girls are in town, and so are two new Scouts? What now threatens peace on Earth?
Heart-snatchers, that's who! Raye is attacked while doing her chores at her grandfather's shrine and the culprit wants
the pure-heart crystal inside her heart. When Serena and her friends can't save their companion, the two newcomers,
Uranus and Neptune save Raye's crystal and her life after determining the crystal isn't the one they need. After several
botched missions, Serena finds out that Uranus and Neptune are her new friends, cousins Michelle and Amara (a reliable
source has told me they're lesbiens too). Again, Rini shows up to help, but she's got a new identity: Sailor Mini
Moon. No one knows that the true pure-heart crystals are inside Michelle and Amara and Rini's friend Sailor Pluto, known
as Trista. The crystals are needed to revive Sailor Saturn, who will destroy the universe. The Scout of Destruction
is none other than Rini's friend, Hotaru.
Now what?! Dream-snatchers?! They're after beautiful dreams and the legendary Pegasus? Who can save
us? The Sailor Scouts and Tuxedo Mask of course!!! During this mess, Rini befriends Pegasus and protects him.
In return, the winged horse protects Rini when she needs him. But this time, no one has the right dream. No one
except Rini. Captured, tortured and held hostage with Pegasus, who is in fact an elfin-boy named Helios, Rini nearly
dies. Serena, trying to save her daughter and Helios, also nearly commits suicide, but once the enemy is defeated and
Rini thrown to the streets miles below, she becomes Neo-Queen Serenity and grows wings (the same source called her an "angel"
during a SM-related conversation). Rini is saved and Helios returns to being her friend Pegasus in the Dream World.
Unfortunatly, I haven't seen the entire series, so you'll have to check out other websites.
